Website Survey

I believe the following questions to be important for when surveying Redline Auto Service's website:

1. What brought you to this site? This question is important because an organization should know why people are coming to your site. Are they actually looking for a service or product? Or is it something else entirely.

2. How were you brought to this site? This is important because it gauges the effectiveness of things like advertising and marketing. Was someone brought here because of an ad they saw, or was it from a simple Google search?

3. Was the site easy to navigate? It is important to know that the customer can navigate a site.Otherwise you risk losing them if they become frustrated and look somewhere else.

4. Did you find what you were looking for? Important for the same reason as question three. It gives an idea on whether or not the customer left a site satisfied. If they did not then they are less likely to return.

5. Was this the first organization you visited online or did you check out competitors first? This can help tell a company if they are making an effective presence online. If they checked out another organization first then it may be that they are doing something better to draw in potential customers.

6. Would you like to see more integration between the site and social media outlets? There is very minimal integration between the site and social media as of now. It's mostly just linking between. Would things like a Twitter feed be used.

7. What did you like best about the site? Least? Always an important question to find out what is being done well and what needs to be done better.

8. Any other suggestions or recommendations to improving this site? Finally a question almost every survey should include. People aren't usually shy on telling you what they think needs improving.

  1. Last question i agree totally. What is wrong with these companies that they do not want to hear what the consumers have to say. Someone needs to open there eyes to this important issue that will send there revenues through the roof. What can we do Michael?

  2. Good -- I've found interesting responses to the "how did you find our site" question -- a lot of people will say Google, not because they did a search, but because they associate Google with the entire Internet....
